On Saturday 10th June, 2pm, The Witham Arts Centre in Barnard Castle is showing a recorded performance of Peter Pan, Sally Cookson’s wonderfully inventive production captured live at the National Theatre.
A delight for children and adults alike, the acclaimed show is captivating and funny, staying true to JM Barrie’s original story. Filled with all the famous characters, children will revel in the magical delights of Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, Captain Hook, the Pirates, the Mermaids, Tinkerbell and Tiger Lily.
Having been very well-reviewed during its run at the National Theatre earlier this year, the show has received admiration for a Neverland staged as an urban adventure playground with contemporary and refreshing twists with visually dramatic scenes.
