Wondrous Watercolours

Watercolourists Michael Farmer, Jenny Ulyatt, and Sarah Hill present an exhibition of refreshing watercolour paintings that delight in the colour, light and shape that occur naturally around them.

Date: Thursday 30 March to Saturday 22 April
Time: 10 am - 4 pm Tuesday to Saturday
Price: Free admission

Durham artists Sarah Hill and Jenny Ulyatt paint alongside Michael Farmer in their shared stuido in Ainderby Steeple, North Yorkshire.  The trio have come together to present an exhibition of refreshing watercolour paintings that delight in the colour, light and shape that occur naturally around them.

Ulyatt's organic work grows out of her sketches, photographs, memories of places, and  imagination. creating work that is more interesting, surprising and lively than the sum of its parts; whilst Hill takes great pleasure in exploring the colours, clarity, patterns and fluidity that are so integral to watercolour painting.
